The newly established Csillagh-Morabito piano duo is a collaboration of
two renowned concert pianists, Steinway artist Katalin Csillagh and
Antonio Morabito. What started out as a friendship quickly became a
professional partnership, the musicians started playing together in
September 2024 at such prestigious concert halls as the Steinway Hall
in London, among other venues. They have further engagements in
Europe, including their home countries Hungary and Italy. They come
from two of the finest musical backgrounds, Katalin representing the
Hungarian/Russian/German and Antonio the Neapolitan “piano school”.
Uniting these two different musical heritages, they find harmony in
performing the gems of the piano four hand repertoire. When not on tour, both artists passionately devote themselves to their teaching activities across London.
Just finished recording Beethoven’s G major Piano concerto with conductor Peter Koczan and the Sopron Symphony Orchestra. CD coming out soon.
